Why is there no Microsoft Office 13?

Everyone is aware that Microsoft Office 2010 is released. Although few know that Office 2010 is
just the

 marketing name, the actual software version is 14. Why is this important? The previous version of office, Office 2007, was version 12. So what happened to version 13? MSDN Channel 9 has a great video explaining the mystery. Here is a hint: Why do some buildings not have a 13th floor?
